5 dBi Omni Directional Dipole Antenna with N-male fixed-right-angle connector.All versions are waterproof / suitable for outdoor use:

• In the fixed right-angle versions: The angle is sealed plastic
• The articulating / bendable angle version is also waterproof.
• Sends WiFi / wireless signal high and low enough to reach 2 levels of a building.
• Omni dipole antenna : Radiates signal with a beam of 360 degrees; also receives signal from 360 degrees around it

Compatibility with wireless standards & applications: This omni directional antenna's range of frequency band compatibility in the 2.4 ~ 2.5GHz frequency band range, its its excellent low broadband VSWR at < 1.8, and impedance matching to 50 Ohm gear, makes it suitable and compliant for all the following applications:

• IoT wireless & M2M: Bluetooth, ZigBee, and ISM. Since it is vertically polarized, it is compatible with many machine to machine communication applications, remote monitoring, and telemetry applications.
• 2.4GHz WiFi applications: 802.11N, 802.11G, 802.11B

• As client antenna: Connect to access points in any direction. Portable size: Easily fits in laptop case
• As access point antenna: Provides signal to clients in all directions (360-degree horizontal beamwidth)
• Frequency Band Options: Make choice with buttons above: This antenna is not dual-band: You have to chose one band or the other: Mounts directly onto N-female connector of access point, wireless bridge, client, or booster. N is the largest of antenna connector types.
  • Frequency 2.4GHz-2.5GHz (2.4GHz frequency band, which is the most common WiFi band for home routers & consumer products, and is compliant with 802.11n & 802.11g/b, and XBee devices.
  • Frequency 5.1 - 5.8GHz is the other option you can choose above.
• Bottom section of antenna has fixed 90-degrees joint.

• Impedance: 50 Ohms
• This type of omni-directional antenna is called a dipole antenna and is also called a "rubber duck" antenna.
• Lead-free and ROHS compliant: The entire product is ROHS compliant (connector and antenna).

N-type male Connector Characteristics and Details: Durable, weatherproof connection

• Nickel-plated brass body for enhanced corrosion resistance: Nickel plating is the most weather-resistant, corrosion-resistant metal plating.
• Our N connectors provide a consistent performance from 900MHz to 12.5 GHz.
• N-Female diameter is 0.620-inch (1.57 cm) . N-male inside diameter is 0.620-inch (1.57 cm)
• N-connector gender is counter-intuitive .
• N-Type connectors are the largest of the RF connector types , and are usually found on large antennas, especially for outdoor use.
• Our N-Type connectors feature threaded coupling mechanisms and are fully interchangeable with N-Type connectors made to the MIL-C-39012 specification. These connectors are used in all systems where excellent RF and mechanical performance is critical.

• Connector Body: Nickel-Plated Brass : The most corrosion-resistant of all plated brass alloys (better than gold-plated).
• Center Contact: Beryllium Copper, Gold Plated
• Crimp Ferrule: Copper, Nickel Plated
• Insulators: PTFE

Articulating (Bendable) Right Angle: This antenna can be angled up to 90 degrees (articulating right angle) or positioned straight. The articulating (bendable) right-angle isn’t weatherproof: Water can seep into the angled part of the antenna. Articulating right-angle antennas are therefore recommendable for indoor use or protected outdoors, i.e. under an eave.
