Omni-Directional Dipole Antenna

Antenna for GSM, ISM, LTE applications: Omni-Directional dipole antenna for cellular phone bands 824-960 MHz and 1710-1990 MHz. These bands are used for GSM, ISM & LTE: 4G networks (AT&T Mobility, Verizon and others).

Connector options: SMA-male, RP-SMA-male, or FME-female:

Suitable for the following wireless standards & applications:

This omni directional antenna's range of frequency band compatibility in the 824-960 MHz and 1710-1990MHz frequency band range, its low broadband VSWR, and impedance matching to 50 Ohm gear, makes it suitable and compliant for all the above applications.

  • As access point antenna: Provides signal to clients in any direction (360-degree horizontal beamwidth)
  • As client antenna: Connect to an access point in any direction.
  • Capable of extending your wireless range up to 300 meters.

TEST RESULTS for FREQUENCY RANGES:

report antenna

The antenna exhibits stable and consistent performance over the approximate frequency range of 1.64 to 1.84 GHz. The S11 measurements indicate good impedance matching across the band, with VSWR values remaining between approximately 1.48 and 1.55, and Return Loss levels close to −13 dB to −14 dB at the evaluated points.

Frequency range Assessment Rating Compatible technologies
1.64–1.84 GHz Very good ★★★★ LTE Band 3 (1800 MHz), LTE Band 1 (partial), GSM 1800, private LTE networks, cellular IoT gateways, industrial wireless systems, telemetry and data acquisition links, and broadband wireless communication platforms.
Stable and consistent impedance matching across the band with VSWR between approximately 1.48 and 1.55 and Return Loss around −13 to −14 dB, ensuring reliable performance and efficient power transfer

Antenna, cable and connector are all complaint with ROHS and REACH.

* [Better radiation efficiency than the AD3RAv2]

The key performance difference between the two models AD3RA and AD3RAv2 is the lower VSWR of AD3RA: VSWR tells you how much power is reflected back from the antenna to the transmitter.

  • Lower VSWR (of AD3RA) means that more more power is reflected back towards the transmitter
  • Higher VSWR (of AD3RA2) means that AD3RAv2 has more non-relected power than AD3RA

  • Articulating (Bendable) Right Angle: This antenna can be angled up to 90 degrees (articulating right angle) or positioned straight. The articulating (bendable) right-angle isn’t weatherproof: Water can seep into the angled part of the antenna. Articulating right-angle antennas are therefore recommendable for indoor use or protected outdoors, i.e. under an eave. If you need a weatherproof dipole antenna, you should choose either a straight dipole or one with a fixed right angle. See our weatherproof antennas.
