A four-cable multiband antenna: Four internal antennas that provide coverage for four different wireless devices:
- Use for 2 LTE connections (main and AUX), + GPS + Dual-Band WiFi (2.4GHz and 5.8 GHz)
- Four antennas in one: Four internal antennas, and has four separate antenna cables & connectors
- Our "stock" antennas have: SMA-male connectors on the cables of the LTE antennas and the GPS antenna, and have an RP-SMA-male connector on the WiFi antenna: This is the most typical configuration that customers need.
- Our "stock" antennas have 6FT cables.
- We can customize for large orders: Cable lengths and connectors, we can customize to whatever connectors and length that you need.
- The differences between this antenna (AL2W1G1) and AL2G1W1 are the following:
- AL2W1G1 has a mounting stud in the rear, with the cables coming through the stud from the rear of the antenna (AL2W1G1 is the antenna on this page).
- AL2G1W1 has the cables attached to the side, so that the antenna can mount flat on a surface (using magnetic-mounting and/or adhesive-mounting) with no need to drill a hole in the mounting surface

Omni-Directional Dual-band MIMO Antenna
- Puck style, permanent mount
- Typically used as vehicle antenna (cars, trucks) but useful and applicable for many applications.
Mounting / Installation Options: Through-hole Mount also called Screw Mount.
- If mounted on a locked enclosure, it cannot be removed by vandal / thief because the nut for the screw-mount is on the inside.
Compatibility with wireless standards & applications:
- This omni directional antenna's range of frequency band compatibility in the 2.4 and 5.8GHz frequency band ranges makes it suitable and compliant for all the following applications:
- IoT wireless & M2M : Bluetooth , ZigBee , and ISM . Since it is vertically polarized , it is compatible with many machine to machine communication applications, remote monitoring, and telemetry applications.
- WiFi applications: Dal Band 2.4GHz and 5.8 GHz: 802.11AC, 802.11N, 802.11G, 802.11B
- LTE / 4G & GSM /3G: Broadband design for 4G / LTE and 3G / GSM systems: 4G networks
- US domestic LTE: 700 MHz band: AT&T Mobility, Verizon.
- Global LTE: 2600 MHz band (2.6GHz)
- GSM bands 824-894 and 1850.2 - 1909.8 (US and Latin America / Mexico)
- 900MHz ISM Band. Can also be made to operate on other VHF and UHF frequencies within the ISM frequency bands.
- Non Line of Sight (NLOS): 900 MHz band is best for passing through trees and forests.
- IoT wireless & M2M: Compatible with many machine to machine communication applications, remote monitoring, and telemetry applications using LTE-m, 4G / LTE, 3G / GSM, LoRa. (Compatible because it is vertically polarized).
- WiMax frequency bands 2300 MHz / 2500 MHz / 2600 MHz (2.3GHz, 2.5GHz, 2.6GHz)
- The GPS antenna has SAW to filter other signals.
- The GPS internal antenna has a metal shield on its bottom side as a ground plane
- Data Alliance's high-quality soldered terminations of connectors with soldering provide a low-loss connection with discontinuities kept to a minimum.
Conversion to Iridium Satellite Coverage: For all of our antennas that cover the GPS frequency 1.5GHz: We can convert the 1.5GHz GPS antenna to 1.6GHz in order to cover the Iridium (Satellite) frequency. This customization takes about 4 extra weeks in production and will increase the cost of the antenna by $1.75 per antenna.

- The flame class of this ABS material is HB.
Beamwidth: H-Plane: 360-degrees: The two internal omni-directional antennas receive and send signals from 360 degrees all around.
Cable is double-shielded, low-loss and very flexible. The cable-type is equivalent or better than LMR-100: Coax with black jacket has the same or better signal-loss-per-meter and flexibility as LMR100, and less attenuation (signal loss) than RG174. The higher quality of the cable of this antenna translates into lower loss/better performance. These antenna cables are rated for outdoor use and are also suitable for indoor use. Recommended tightest continuous bend radius is 1.1 inch (28mm).
RP-SMA and SMA Connector Characteristics:
- RP-SMA = Reverse Polarity SMA. Also known as SMA-RP, SMA-R, SMA RP, SMA R.
- RP-SMA and SMA gender is counter-intuitive: The gender is referring to the pins inside-not the threads. RP-SMA male have threads on the inside. More details regarding RP-SMA gender determination.
- RP-SMA-male and SMA are also called "plugs" and the respective female connectors are also called "jacks."
- RP-SMA and SMA are round screw-type connectors, with medium-sized, threaded coupling connectors that are rated for frequencies from the lowest (DC) up to 18GHz.
- SMA-male connector fits items that have an SMA (female) jack/connector.
- We offer an SMA wrench to assist in installing antennas, cables and adapters with SMA or RP-SMA connector(s).
