N-male to N-male Cables
Antenna Cable: N-type male connector on both ends
- Cable options are shallow signal-loss double-shielded for outdoor or indoor.
- On this page, you'll find various meticulously measured cable options, including 1-foot, 18-inch, 2-foot, 3 FT, 6.5 FT, or 10-foot options, designed to cater to your needs. We carry many other length options of N-male to N-male cables and N-extension cables.
- The length refers to the cable size between the connectors (not including the connectors).
- Rest assured, this cable is rated for outdoor use and perfectly suitable for indoor use, making it a versatile solution for your antenna needs.
- See our mounts for antennas with N-female connectors.
- The length refers to the cable size between the connectors (not including the connectors).
- Allows interconnection of devices with N female interfaces: Antennas, antenna cables, and wireless devices.
- For coaxial extension (for better antenna positioning), coaxial interface conversion, and coax retrofit applications.
With Data Alliance's high-quality soldered terminations of Type-N connectors, you can be confident in its low-loss connection, ensuring minimal discontinuities and optimal performance. We offer three options of the thickness of cable (both are double-shielded for low signal loss: 400 series and 200-series:
- 400-series coaxial cable type (equivalent to LMR-400) has much lower attenuation (signal loss) than 200-series.
- 200-series coaxial cable-type (equivalent to LMR-200) has much lower attenuation (signal loss) than LMR-100 and RG58.
- Our 100-series coaxial cable type is equivalent to or better than LMR-100. It has the same signal-loss-per-meter and flexibility as LMR100 and less attenuation (signal loss) than RG174 and RG178. The higher quality of the cable of this antenna translates into lower loss/better performance. The cable is equivalent to LMR-100 in thickness. This cable is ideal for [specific_use_case_1].100, 200 & 400 -series are rated for outdoor use and suitable for indoor use.
- The double-shielding of 100-series, 200-series, and 400-series cables enables low signal loss. Both are flexible and easily bendable (the 200-series is more flexible and bendable). Double-shielding is a significant factor in the higher quality of this cable, which translates into lower loss and better performance.
- Both coax options have a black PVC jacket.
The temperature range for the operational use of these cable assemblies is as follows:
- Cables with 100-series coax: -22 F ~ +185 F (-30 C ~ +85 C)
- Cables with 200-series coax: -31 F ~ +203 F (-35 C ~ +95 C)
- Cables with 400-series coax: -31 F ~ +203 F (-35 C ~ +95 C)
N-Type Male Connector Materials Composition:
- The materials composition is oriented to ensure a durable, weatherproof connection
- Connector Body: Nickel-Plated Brass: The most corrosion-resistant plated brass alloys (better than gold-plated) for long-term outdoor exposure.
- Our standard nickel-plated connectors: The standard is that the connector can resist a 70-hour salt spray test without any corrosion defects.
- For corrosion resistance of 120 hours in a salt spray test, we have to customize the connector. There is no tooling cost, but it adds four weeks to delivery time, and the product cost will be 20% higher than the standard cable assembly.
- Center Contact: Beryllium Copper, Gold Plated
- Crimp Ferrule: Copper, Nickel Plate
- Insulators: PTFE
- The N-male connector has an internal rubber O-ring. When connected to an N-female connector with a rubber O-ring (at an enclosure port), it provides a water-tight seal rated IP-67 (based on use with Data Alliance’s N-female connectors with a rubber O-ring).
- The N (male) connector is knurled.
- N-male inside diameter is 0.620-inch (1.57 cm)
Frequency Bands & Electrical Characteristics
- This antenna cable’s rated range of frequency band compatibility is from 900GHz to 6GHz)
- Impedance Matching: 50 Ohms
- Capacitance: Approximately 24.5 pF/ft (80.3 pF/m)
- Attenuation (signal loss):
- At 900 MHz: 0.33 dB/m. (0.09 dB/ft.)
- At 2400 MHz: LMR-200 = 0.54 dB/m. (0.12 dB/ft.)
- At 3500 MHz: LMR-200 = 0.67 dB/m. (0.21 dB/ft.)
- At 5800 MHz: LMR-200: 0.87 dB/m. (0.264 dB/ft.)
Compatibility with Wireless Standards & Applications
- Compatible with all WiFi standards: 2.4GHz or 5GHz applications: Wi-Fi 6, WiFi 6E, 802.11AX, 802.11AX, 802.11AC, and earlier Wi-Fi standards: 802.11N, G and B.
- Cellular Wireless LTE / 4G, LTEm, GSM / 3G, 5G, WiMax

N-Type Male Connector Dimensions & Other Characteristics
- N-male inside diameter is 0.620 inches (1.57 cm).
- N-connector gender is counter-intuitive: Click here for details. Gender refers to the pin inside and not the threads.
- N-Type connectors are the largest RF connector types, usually found on large antennas, especially for outdoor use.
- Our N-Type connectors feature threaded coupling mechanisms and are fully interchangeable with N-Type connectors made to the MIL-C-39012 specification. These connectors are used in all systems with critical RF and mechanical performance.
RoHS 3 and REACH compliant: Our antenna cables and RF adapters comply with RoHS 3 and REACH restrictions for lead content and other heavy metals and toxins.
- Conflict Minerals Compliance: This antenna cable complies with Conflict Minerals RMI CMRT 6.31.
